PARADOX, Colo. – The Colorado Division of Wildlife is seeking information on a deer poaching incident that occurred in Montrose County near Paradox on Dec. 25. Two deer were shot in a harvested corn field in the north end of Paradox Valley. Both deer were taken, and evidence in the snow suggests they were both bucks.
A black “Members Only” jacket and black with gray trim “Subaru” stocking cap were recovered near the kill site. There was no deer season in Paradox at the time.
