The Choral Society Carolers will be decking the halls and jingling their bells all around town this Noel Night. The group of about twenty will start at the tree lighting ceremony on Oak Street at 7 p.m. From there the carolers will sing their way down main street stopping at such places as Zia Sun, the Toggery and the Black Bear Trading Co. spreading holiday cheer. There is no set schedule for when they will be singing and where, but chances are good you'll be able to enjoy their festive voices more than once on Noel Night.

Merchants who donated items to the Telluride Choral Society's first ever silent auction, to be held Dec. 18 at the Telluride Conference Center in Mountain Village after the WinterSing concert, will definitely get an extra bit of cheer from the carolers. "And we always get a good crowd at Ace Hardware, we'll be there again," said Jade Graham, Choral Society board member and singer.

Members from the Choral Society's Chorale and Chamber Singers make up the caroling group and will be singing perennial holiday favorites along with giving a preview of music to be performed at the WinterSing concerts on Dec. 11, 12 and 18.
