Mt. Sneffels Education Foundation Auction a Success
Editor:
Mt. Sneffels Education Foundation’s Live/Silent Auction (held Saturday evening, Oct. 18, at the Ouray County 4-H Center) had such a tremendous showing of support that the Foundation netted over $40,000 after the evening’s fun event. Many thanks to our Chairperson, Stephanie Wallin, and the Auction Committee who did an impressive job.
A grateful board of directors would also like to thank the attendees and the many businesses, private individuals, the Secret Garden Caterers, and fantastic auctioneer, Eric Arrington, who contributed to the successful night.
The board will be busy in the next few weeks receiving project requests from both Ouray and Ridgway schools – deciding on funding for those requests that meet MSEF Mission Statement/Goals (www.mtsneffels.org).
Sincerely,

Having had our fourth successful Savor the San Juans Fundraiser to benefit Top of the Pines, a Ouray County camp and preserve. What a great event and good time had by all.
We wish to thank this paper, Ouray County, GoCo, our construction crews, the Chipeta Sun Lodge, Grand River Vineyards, Palasade Brewery, the wonderful restaurants, all volunteers, every donor, and all who have graciously supported us year after year.
Please stop by and see what’s currently up at the camp. Cross-country ski this winter, and participate in the future as we grow this unique regional asset.
Many thanks again,
–
