Alfred A. Marsella, 1925
Alfred A. Marsella, a lifelong resident of Mamaroneck, N.Y., died Saturday morning at the home of his daughter, Diane Kipfer, on Silver Pick Road. He was in the Telluride area to attend the graduation of his grandson, Lance Kipfer, from Telluride High School.
Marsella was born in 1925 to John and Adelina (Giannetti) Marsella. He was a veteran of World WarWII and later a member of the G.I. Civic Club, as well as an active supporter for the Kempfer Memorial Committee.
Marsella is survived by his wife Eleanor (Marino); children Linda and Annette Marsella, Diane Kipfer (husband Stan), Al Marsella (wife Carol); grandchildren Anna Petrova (husband Philipp), Sam Blair, Chad and Lance Kipfer; great-grandchildren Tor and Yar Petrov and Lif Elaeanor Petrova, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Vito’s Roman Catholic Church followed, by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
