TELLURIDE – Local voters will cast ballots in four separate elections on Tuesday, Nov. 3, but none of those contests will require a coordinated effort, according to San Miguel County Clerk and Recorder Peggy Nerlin.

“There are no overlapping boundaries or shared electors,” noted Nerlin.“This will be an all-mail ballot election; however voters in precinct numbers three and six will not receive ballots, as those areas do not include any districts that are holding elections.” Precinct three includes Placerville and precinct six included Mountain Village.

Nerlin said that her office hopes to receive the ballots during the first week in October, and mail them out to voters the week of October 12.

“Once you have voted, you can verify that your mail-in ballot was received by clicking on the Verify Your Vote information Link of the GoVoteColorado.com website,” she said.

In the Town of Telluride Municipal Election, nine candidates are vying for four council seats; one individual is running for Town Meeting Moderator. Voters will face Telluride Ballot Issue 2A, Telluride Ballot Issue 2B, and Question 200.

In the Town of Ophir, voters will decide on Ballot Questions 2A and 2B. Norwood School District R2-JT voters will choose from three candidates running to fill two school board director seats. And in Dolores County School District RE-2J, voters will decide on candidates seeking seats in four different districts.
